The New Orleans Public Library
(New Orleans LA)
The New Orleans Public Library is asking for any and all hardcover and paperback books for people of all ages in an effort to restock the shelves after Katrina. The staff will assess which titles will be designated for its collections. The rest will be distributed to destitute families or sold for library fundraising. Please send your books to:
Rica A. Trigs, Public Relations

If you tell the post office that they are for the library in New Orleans, they will give you the library rate which is slightly less than the book rate.

I am an artist myself, don't do much but teach and help others now tho, still i am making some paintings now and then. I do love to trance-out and get into it. Lots of things hold me back at the present time. I bet your jewelry is great, I will come back and explore the links and maybe see some of your work.
Pardon me for dropping in, F.R.O.G. Philo took me to Daria, and then, I think it was to you, just lookin around, having fun, thanks and hope your health improves...I often take about 8-16 5mg aspirin a day, 4 at a time, first dissolved in some drink then swallowed, prevents the stomach problems for me, and the aspirin holds back the aches, I try not to use anything else, prefering to up the aspirin intake if necessary, good luck with your aches, try to stay ahead of it if you can. That is something I do, take the dose even if no problem, and eating helps, like preventive medicine, I guess. see ya.
